LOCATION: IKEJA LAGOS, NIGERIAJOB TITLE: REPORTERPOSITION OVERVIEW:The position holder will be required to contribute to the overallstrategic objective of the company of bringing high quality televisionnews content to the Nigerian and the world by collecting and analyzingfacts about newsworthy events through interview, investigation, orobservation.Investigates leads and news tips, look at documents, observe events atscene and innterview people.Gather and verifies factual information regarding story throughinterview, observation a and research.Organizes material, determines slant or emphasis and writes storyaccording to prescribed editorial style and format standards.Cover breaking news in the field including producing, shooting,editing and scriptwriting.WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:This individual should have at least 5 years experience as a reporter.He or sheshould have at least 2 years experience internationally.Experience in on-line journalism will be extremely helpful.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:B.S.C and a higher national diploma are mandatory. Post graduate workin journalism or related areas is highly desirable.
