Reports to Regional Communication Director

Business Purpose/Objective
The National Communication Manager insures the good representation of Red Bull as a brand and company in his/her market. He/She carries the face of the company to the consumers through the media.
This should be done via proper Red Bull media exposure, personal representation in given circumstances and strong connections with local media people who can affect negatively or positively the public opinion.

Accountabilities (Responsibilities)
• Develops a yearly communication plan for the market taking into consideration the regional strategy and local needs of market.
• Develops and distributes to the media all communication materials i.e. editorials and production related to events, product, athletes, corporate matters, etc. This covers: press kits, stories, photographs, films, interviews, trade and industry press material, web pages etc. His/her operation covers the TV, radio, print and online media.
• Establishes a good media contacts network in various fields (sport-business-corporate-entertainment…)
• Identifies and co-ordinates various external resources to execute the communication strategy, i.e. photographers, videographers, translators, press officers... Reviews and monitors the execution of the job with the above suppliers.
• Contributes to the development and maintenance of the regional website and manage all the local micro pages (events, athletes, others if any).
• Monitors Companys’ mentioning in the media scene, Energy drinks category matters, PR issues and anything that might affect directly or indirectly the business through the media platform.
• Handles crisis communication in the market in collaboration with the regional communications director with whom he/she should agree on the steps and actions to be taken.
• Issues a monthly communication report
• Works closely with the local marketing team to develop best ways of brand communication and organize support/communication of local events, athletes, activities…
• Works closely (meetings, trainings, share learning, aligning plans, re-applying successful models…) with the company’s’ regional communication team.
• Liaises with the communications team in the Company HQ for exploitation in media of various international and global events, getting updates on recent stories, tools, materials etc.
• Files and updates all relevant materials related to internal or external communications fields (infonet-photofiles-monitoring reports-Video, Audio, print productions, important internal/external correspondence…)
• Work on national-international and global events exploitation on regional level
• Reports on regular basis the outcome & learning of every major activity in the market.

Educational Bachelors of Science in Mass communication or any related field.
Experience Desired The candidate should have not less than 6 years post qualification cognate experience.
Minimum Competencies • Experience in media work (journalism or public relations fields) • Good media relations in his/her market • Excellent writing skills • Strong knowledge in organizing and executing events (planning, briefing, covering…) • Able to improve and learn quickly to handle bigger projects/responsibilities
