Job Title Finance & Admin Manager
Reports to CEO
Business Objective To manage, direct, coordinate, and supervise the Financial & administration of the Company
Direct reports Accountant, Accounts Officer Admin Coordinator, Receptionist, 3 Office Assistants, 3 Drivers Security personnel, local contractors
Accountabilities (Responsibilities)
• Manages cash flows/treasury matters
• Develops and monitors annual budgets and forecasts
• Develops capital and project budgets and funding analysis
• Supervises the accounting/financial matters
• Directs the management of the accounting system
• Prepares management and financial statements and reports
• Provides timely reports on revenues and expenditures
• Prepares profitability assessments
• Manages all insurance matters (corporate/assets)
• Coordinates with annual audits
• Develops and documents all accounting policies and procedures
• Administration of all taxes, including WHT receipts
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Assets management and maintenance (IT, equipments, building, furniture, cars etc)
• Facilities management (internal & external)
• Security and safety measures and management
• Infrastructural and assets upgrades and expansion
• Vendor selection and procurement
• Utilities management
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Educational Requirements • University Degree
• Professional Qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA
• MBA or MSc is an added advantage
Minimum Experience Minimum 5 years work in a related function, preferably in a credible SME environment. Exposure to some best practices/decent environment
Desired Experience
Mixture of accounts and some admin experience.

• Thorough Knowledge of the principle, procedures and practice of accounting, taxation and audits
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Training knowledge and experience of applicable computer software (Microsoft Office Suite and peachtree accounting or another accounting software)
• Time and stress management skills
• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to engage, supervise and motivate all direct reports
• Good people management and relationship skills
